Sterling Silver seems to be the medium being widely used due to gold and platinum being used in electronics. We all know gold prices are high! When buying Silver you definitely want “sterling” due to the soft nature of silver when it’s plated it wears off quickly. Sterling silver simply means “solid” silver.

I bought a David Yurman link chain and a John Hardy mixed media chain. Both are in style. At first look I thought the David Yurman chain was more interesting, sexier, and made more of a statement. The Yurman chain is also a little heavier. While the Yurman chain is more “rock and roll” the John Hardy looks as if it’s trying to be more refined but unable to pull it off. The John Hardy is just a little boring.

Believe it or not the John Hardy is $250 more than the David Yurman.
